Your Osteopaths

Our osteopaths are all registered with the General Osteopathic Council, which help regulate the profession and are members of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Grant Sheppard M.Ost

Grant graduated from the European School of Osteopathy with an integrated Masters degree and also is qualified as an ITEC level 4 Sports massage therapist.

Grant works mainly with a general osteopathic approach which focuses on finding the root cause of the presenting pain. He can adapt to each patient with a variety of osteopathic techniques including visceral and cranial and can also use medical dry needling. This makes Grant able to help people of all ages and lifestyles.

Grant also specialises in patients that wish to start or remain active.  Grant took elective training at university in the sports clinic and combines this with his previous experience as a sports massage therapist where he has treated a number of professional and amateur sports people. This gives Grant the capabilities to provide bespoke rehabilitation exercises for each patient regardless of fitness levels.

“Having osteopathic treatment myself helped me maintain my active lifestyle which lead me to train in this profession so that I can help others maintain a healthy lifestyle which is really rewarding”

Jodi Bishop M.Ost

Jodi graduated from the ESO after completing her 4 year integrated Masters degree, which included training in structural, cranial and visceral Osteopathy.

She is qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture as an adjunct to Osteopathy, holds an Itec Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy, and certification in pelvic floor stability and assessment.

As a result of her varied experience, Jodi applies a broad range of techniques, incorporating each modality as she and her patients deem appropriate.

As a mother to two young children, Jodi has a keen interest in paediatrics and womens health, and is currently undertaking further training in pelvic health rehabilitation, pelvic assessment, antenatal and postnatal health and assessment.

Jodi believes in the holistic approach of Osteopathy, and thrives on the interactions she has with people from all walks of life.

I truly believe Osteopathy is for everyone, and love the flexibility and scope Osteopathy offers to treat a multitude of conditions. There is never a single solution to any problem, and I love approaching my patients’ symptoms or pain with a treatment plan that is as individual as they are’’

Grant is amazing, I pulled something in my back at the gym and I was in agony. I managed to get an appointment on the day and Grant explained to me after examination that it was nothing serious, he explained what had happened to my back and that my glutes had caused the problem. After 3 treatments and a rehab program that he gave me I am now back to my normal self and able to train again.

Zoe, Shoreham by Sea

I had been experiencing daily headaches for the past 3 years. After a few sessions my headaches began to decrease, I learnt how to control them and my motivation has returned and I was soon back to training and exercising. Having felt so low and deflated, osteopathy has helped me both physically and mentally, not only to recover, but to come back better. I can’t wait to start my next challenge! Thank you for your help!

Alison, Tunbridge Wells

I had achilles pain for years and it was stopping me from training and working. I had a session with Grant and he explained that my calf was causing the problem. After one session I have no pain! Would highly recommend.

Paul, Hove

Grants a wizard! Highly recommend

Sara, Hove

Grants assessment, treatment and the rehab programme he gave me was fantastic and after months of injury without improvement I made immediate progress. I thought I would never get rid of the pain. Couldn’t recommend Grant highly enough.

Mike, Southwick

I never knew my neck was supposed to turn as much as it did! Thanks Grant
