Grant is amazing, I pulled something in my back at the gym and I was in agony. I managed to get an appointment on the day and Grant explained to me after examination that it was nothing serious, he explained what had happened to my back and that my glutes had caused the problem. After 3 treatments and a rehab program that he gave me I am now back to my normal self and able to train again.

Zoe, Shoreham by Sea

I had been experiencing daily headaches for the past 3 years. After a few sessions my headaches began to decrease, I learnt how to control them and my motivation has returned and I was soon back to training and exercising. Having felt so low and deflated, osteopathy has helped me both physically and mentally, not only to recover, but to come back better. I can’t wait to start my next challenge! Thank you for your help!

Alison, Tunbridge Wells

I had achilles pain for years and it was stopping me from training and working. I had a session with Grant and he explained that my calf was causing the problem. After one session I have no pain! Would highly recommend.

Paul, Hove

Grants a wizard! Highly recommend

Sara, Hove

Grants assessment, treatment and the rehab programme he gave me was fantastic and after months of injury without improvement I made immediate progress. I thought I would never get rid of the pain. Couldn’t recommend Grant highly enough.

Mike, Southwick

I never knew my neck was supposed to turn as much as it did! Thanks Grant

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be cracked?

Osteopaths use a range of techniques that can be discussed with you, if manipulation is required the osteopath in Horsham West Sussex will explain the risks and benefits and after assessment will determine this is the right technique for you. There are some medical conditions that make it unsuitable for these manipulation techniques or it could be personal choice. If you don’t like to be ‘cracked’ there are other ways of treating the condition which can be discussed.

How will I feel after treatment?

Post treatment symptoms vary as this can be dependent on the types of techniques used during treatment. Your osteopath will explain within the treatment what to expect before treatment commences.

There is a chance that you may feel sore after treatment for up to 48 hours as the body readjusts. Some people report feeling tired or in children slightly restless or unsettled.

What conditions do you treat?

Osteopaths can treat a number of conditions with the most common including back ache, arthritic pain, musculoskeletal conditions and joint pains, headaches, digestion problems, generalised aches and pains, minor sports injuries and sciatica.

Can anyone have osteopathic treatment?

The answer is generally yes. However following a detailed consultation and medical screening your osteopath will determine whether you are safe to have osteopathic treatment and it is not unusual if something is identified within the consultation that osteopathy might not be the right treatment for you and we will refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional in Horsham West Sussex. Osteopathy is otherwise suitable for all ages.

How many sessions will I need?

We do not calculate sessions as we treat every person individually and will discuss the nature of your condition during the initial consultation. This is also determined by how your condition is progressing with the treatments. Our role is to also provide self-management along with treatment to lessen the reliance on treatment and to empower you to be able to take control of your health.

Does osteopathy hurt?

Osteopaths only work within the boundaries of your pain level; Osteopathy should not be painful and there is constant communication between the patient and practitioner therefore you are able to stop anything you feel uncomfortable with.
